This week we have been focusing on the editing process of our production. We haven't really gotten that far with the timing of it, but we are gradually progressing. We have a lot of shots to use, although some need to be re-shot. Myself, Meena and Amal have come in during our free lessons, lunch time, before school and after school to edit in order for us to move along with the process of it due to us having to spend time producing our print production. We have most of our sounds sorted out, but need to find more and ensure that they link with the timing of when the different images appear. We have received a lot of help from the media mentors who have given us advice and suggestions on how we could improve our production.
Overall, we still have some shots to film and have a lot of editing to do, but we are gradually progressing and are sure that we will meet the deadline.
What Went Well...
* We have nearly completed a minute of our trailer.
* We have all spent time editing our trailer.
* We have all been communicating and coming to decisions about the making of our trailer .i.e. what sounds to use and how long the shots should appear in the trailer.
Next Best Steps...
* We finish off the filming stage of our production.
* We attend editing sessions more as a group and not just individually.
* We complete our trailer, so we can spend time on our print production.
